Passing the baton

From my mother to me. The same care.

We come from hospitality, since 1989. My mother roasted Ciano's coffee for years; now she has retired and passed the baton to me. Today I roast at the Alcover roastery, with Mina and Anatoli.

Your questions, on the table.

Whole bean or ground?

If you have a grinder or a bean-to-cup machine, go for whole bean: the aroma lasts longer. If not, choose the grind for your coffee maker when you buy: moka pot, espresso, filter or French press.

Where do I start?

If you're used to everyday coffee, start with step 1, the blends. If you want to try several at once, go for a three-coffee bundle.

250 g or 1 kg?

250 g if you drink one or two coffees a day or want to try different ones. The kilo is for those who already have their coffee and don't want to run out.

How long does shipping take and how much does it cost?

In mainland Spain you get it within 24–48 working hours: we pack it, the courier collects it the next day and the day after it's at your door. Free from €35. Below that, the cost is shown at checkout based on your address. You can also choose “Pickup” and collect it from the Alcover roastery, free of charge.

How does the subscription work?

You choose the coffee and how often it arrives. No commitment: pause, change or cancel it from your account.
